Cheaper and better than the HP one

This is cheaper and better than the HP one. In addition, you get the USB port (not sure if I'll ever used it but I could).

Will not charge Dell laptops

I suppose this is a great replacement adapter, fits most laptops. However, it won't charge Dell laptops, you can run your Dell laptop plugged in, but not charge the battery. Would be nice if the product description stated that, I would have spend the extra $20 to get a genuine Dell adapter.

Versatile compact charger

This is a great compact charger. It fits easily into a laptop case. Would be nice to have just a little longer cord, but this is minor issue.

Better than the Acer one that came with the laptop

this adapter is pretty nice, light weight, sturdy cord, and the USB plug is awesome to charge my phone and ipod with!

Loose, but works great

On an Acer laptop, it fits a little loose, so sometimes have to push it back in. But, to be honest, the cord that CAME with the Acer that I had to replace fit the same way, so may be an Acer problem. But it works fine, love the USB plugin, and its lighter and fits into the backpack better than the original. I'm happy with it.

Awesome power adaptor!

My power adaptor that came with my laptop went out with my laptop being less than a year old. This adaptor works great and better than the original. It fits perfectly and never shorts out. I have an HP Presario laptap and this adaptor fits perfectly and works perfectly. I do not have any complaints at all! Love it.

Kensington power adapter

I look for the right adapter for a long time. I finally took a chance on this one. It works great. I have an Acer 3000 lap top and this power adapter was the one I needed. Plugged right in and charged the battery and ran the lap top fine. I would recommend this to anyone. I hope this review helps. Great price

Works as advertised

Got this to replace the non-functional stock PS for our Asus netbook. So far it has worked just fine. This was an awesome deal. The OEM Asus unit was more expensive before shipping than this one was with shipping. Besides, Asus was out of them and even if they were in stock they would have taken over a week to get it to me anyway. This company had this in stock for way cheaper, took PayPal, and got it to me by the end of the week with just the standard shipping. And it has a 2-year warranty. Cannot speak to how any of the other adapter plugs fit, since we are only using it for the one Asus netbook. The only negative is that the mains cord is pretty short, but it is a standard cord so we just used the cord from the stock unit, as anyone would. So this is a moot issue.

A good product

While it works as advertised, the plug is a just the tiniest bit small for the socket in my Acer Aspire 5515 (or the socket is a little too large, perhaps?), so if I move my laptop at all I usually have to reposition the cable just right to get it to make contact again. Other than that this product is just fine, and the USB connection is a nice bonus.
