A stable operating system
I have been reluctant to give up my XP operating system software. Never tried Vista and didn't want to. I read positive things about Windows 7 so I decided to give it a whirl. I like the new features that add to ease of use. So far it is stable and I have very few if any problems with it. It is fairly straight forward for learning your way around it.

Good install from Vista
I installed 7 on my desktop that had been running Vista. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Things went smoothly. It is taking some time to get used to 7, would prefer to have the window look like and do things like Vista. I am slowly getting used to it. Be sure you order the right version of the disc. I started with OEM version which wouldn't work although it is much cheaper. Spent 70+% more for this version. Return of OEM version was handled well

It's about Time!
Finally broke down and purchased this. I'm really impressed with the improvements Microsoft has made. Enjoy Windows 7 much better that XP and Vista. Now if only the price was cheaper, it would be perfect.
