Impressed
This is replacing my dying Vaio. I added 4 gig before even firing it up and it runs fast and efficiently. I don't have much used for the Windows 8 tiles or some of the other features, but I'm getting used to it. As a gamer it works well and video display is crisp and clear. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Great performance for the price!
This laptop is one of the most impressive ones I have seen for the price. The only downside is that it has windows 8 and I have no use for the live tiles.

Great deal on this PC. All the features I wanted and very pleased with shipping and email notifications.Not happy with windows 8 ,Nonethe less, so far I'm very pleased with my new computer.

For the price? yes. GAMERS BUDGET DREAM!
I've been doing this a long time, I am an IT guy, so i know what im doing. I normally dont write reviews, but this Laptop for the price was so impressive, i had to write one. For the price, this is an incredible machine, and if you are a gamer thats on a budget, Hands down this is the way to go.

Super Sweet Mo- Chine
Was looking for a new laptop that was economical and was running Win8. For me this is my training wheels on my new ACER. Love it. up and running right out of the box. Win8 initially FRUSTRATING but I'm starting to get the hang of it. If all else fails I'll my grandson to give me a hand.

Great laptop for the price
I bought this as a replacement for my son's desktop that died. It is easily twice the computer as the one we replaced at less than its equivalent would cost. My son is thrilled with the laptop and I was thrilled with the price.

Great laptop
Ran great out of the box but I hated Windows 8. I had already upgraded the memory to 8GB so I ordered a 1TB HD and installed a new copy of Win7 Pro. Retrieved Win7 drivers from Acer and all is well. Very happy customer.

SOLID!
This machines is reliable and is a great value. The main complaint that I have is WINDOWS 8 seems to be a test project for some techies to come up with something new and improved. Instead, they have made screen real estate more important than functionality. The computer itself is GREAT!!!

Overall a solid performer
I bought this laptop for my Dad and Mom so I didn't really get a lot of usage time out of it while a set it up but it seemed to operate nicely. I went ahead and added 4 gigs of ram which I highly recommend. Boot time was ok but after getting used to 9 second boot times that I get with my Asus G75v with it's Solid State Hard Drive, I guess I was expecting too much but in it's defense it is a solid starter laptop.
