Not worth the trouble
I purchased this drive enclosure and got it with very fast delivery. Used it for 2 days and I started to smell burning rubber. After that, the enclosre was unusable. I am sending it back for a full refund. Going to get something local that doesnt cost me shipping as well.

Just what I needed
needed a SATA enclosure for my wife's HDD, since her computer stopped booting. This was an excellent buy. Easy to get the HDD up and running in no time with this enclosure. Was able to pull the files with ease. It is a must buy.

Meets my needs
Wow, this product works great. Had an EIDE drive that I needed to recover photos. I've transfered all of the photos to another system with ease. This beats the MNSSCOOL external enclose which would not even power on. If you need to pull data from an old EIDE drive, this is your baby. Highly recommend. This also works with SATA drives too.

Works great.
Had a couple of IDE hard drives from my old PC. Easily installed the harddrives one at a time and retrieved the data I was after. Did not even look at the instructions to install the drive! Even going to use one of the drives to back up data.
