Useing wrist strap for protection due to size is a good safety factor. Very pleased with the shake warning feature and the starting modes. Has a lot of excellent feature for taking good pictures. Overall, it's a good camara for the money |

I bought this for my 81 year old parents who do not have a computer. I chose the 3" LCD screen so they could see it better. This is a great camera, easy to use, good features. Color is great, picture is clear. Lots of features my parents will never use but I would if it were mine. I purposely bought a camera that had a Li on rechargeable battery, so they would not be using AA's all the time. This comes with the charger and the battery is easy to charge.
I would like to have had one that the battery could be charged right in the camera, but that is a minor wish. My parents can take the SD card out and put in the digital frame we bought them. They can take it to Walmart and get prints! All in all, my parents are thrilled and I am pleased. |

NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD
The number of
pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity
of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card
can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your
images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an
average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately
213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will
increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot
in a higher resolution mode. |
