Pretty good for the price I paid

I'd been researching these for a couple months and finally hit them on sale for under $60. The replaced a pair of speakers and an Altec Lansing subwoofer that I'd owned for over 20 years. Overall, they are an improvement but I'm a little disappointed by the lack of treble or high range. And for the life of me, why don't they put some kind of protective grille over the downward firing speaker cone on the sub?

Simply awesome

I bought these to replace a set of Altec's that had a short in the volume knob. I absolutely love them. They sound way better than the Altec's I replaced. Great Product. The sub produces just enough bass without it being overpowering. Will get many years out of use from these things.

flat up top

I bought these for a replacement to my 15 yr old Altec's. It's always tough to buy without hearing first... These speakers are fine for what they are if you are just looking for general audio. However, for the price, I expected better clarity on the upper range. Music seems a little flat. Mid and bass is good for this size of system.

Great Sound!

These speakers sound great. I was looking for good sounding speakers for awhile with a booming base and this was it. I listen to ''House Music'' and this makes my listening experience fantastic. This is a great buy!

Good product

Loud and clear. Good deal for the money. Looked at speakers for awhile and decided to try these. Not disappointed yet. Good bas for the size.

Very good replacement speakers!

I had a set of Cambridge Soundworks PC Works speakers that I used for years and with many computer systems. But the woofer finally died. So when I read the reviews reporting high trebles, I expected that. Mine did NOT have that problem, or any other problem. These have given EXCELLENT sound, compared to other computer sound systems at a sane price level. I was pleasantly surprised and am very pleased with these speakers

Nice but

Tweeters are a bit tinny sounding, but overall good.

This speaker system fills the room with sound and bass.Ive never had a bad product from Logitech.

I have used Logitech accessories for many years, and I have always been pleased with the quality at whatever price range. The Z523 speakers are no exception. They are well-designed, sturdy, and good-sounding. I expect them to serve my purposes excellently.

Great little unit

I already own two other speaker-sub combo units from the same manufacturer, and ordered this one for the bedroom TV. It sure makes watching movies and listening to concerts and the music channels a lot nicer. This is a great unit, good for a mid-size room, with good value and very good performance. I highly recommend this system as a substitute for TV speakers.
