Works
Everything was as expected. Installed no problems. The only issue I have with this is the stock heat sink. I had to replace it with a more robust one because some apps caused it to shut down.

Awesome chip
This chip is a true CHAMP and I would recommend to anyone wanting a good fast gaming pc. Granted that intel has more performance per core so playing older pc games that are ports of consoles intel has a slight advantage but new games are being optimized and taking advantage of more cores!!! GREAT VALUE FOR WHAT IT IS!!!

Awesome
Installed in a Asus Formula Z with a Cooler-master V8 in a Haf X case. It's insane. Everything I play on max no question. And still running 34c max load. Not OC'd yet. Really no need to honestly. Skyrim running using at most 25% load

This CPU Screams!!!
This cpu performs like a beast! Playing Bioshock Infinite and Tombraider on Ultra settings, 1920x1080, with 60+ FPS. I'm extremely happy with my purchase! Highly recommended.

Great processor
I read the review on this processor and at first i was not sold by it , but I stuck to my knowledge, and this processor works great it run faster than my (I7's, I5's, and I3's) from Intel on my other PC's, I have had no gaming problem with this processor what so ever,and if you know what hardware to use with is processor it will be the most fasted processor I have ever seen with out overclocking.

Great value per core
If this cpu was not eight core, it'd be a sempron. Upgraded from a AMD Athlon 955 Black edition clocked at 4ghz on my ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme and while 4ghz vs 4ghz this FX-8350 is slower 4ghz vs 5ghz it pulls ahead in quite a few games like crysis 3 GTAIV and at 6ghz its a beast

Absolutely fantastic!
Pros: Extremely fast. Stock clocked at 4GHz, and easily overclocked, as long as your PSU and mobo can handle it. I don't think I've maxed out all 8 cores yet, even while running BF3 and Crysis 2 at max (I couldn't even run them with my old Core 2 Duo!) or emulating GameCube games. Coins: Runs quite hot, even with my large heatsink. I'll be upgrading to a liquid cooler soon. Also takes quite a bit of power to run, but that can be expected with these specs.
