Very good for the price
Good processor. I use it in an entry level Workstation for Autocad and 3dsMax. Works very well, ever for rendering complex scenes. It's very noisy when the turbo kicks in.

This guy is fast
This processor rips through large photoshop files in nothing flat. Put in a new build to replace my older phenomII 4 core machine. What a difference. Have not see a need to boost the clock rate. Great for games too.

Great Cpu!! Amazingly fast!
Is almost as fast or on par with some i7's. Great price too. Recommend for gaming or running lots of applications. Runs at 35-50C using stock heatsink and artic 5 silver thermal paste.

Works Great with Liquid Cooling
I know I voided the warranty right away by using liquid cooling, but I had to try it. CPU runs cool and performance has been awesome. Great CPU for the price. And now I use the included fan and heat sink for a paperweight.

Fabuleux
I make a lot of music with my computer and was worried what to buy or not. I was not looking for a gamer cpu but something that an average geek may use without problems. Now with this 8core replacing my 5 y.o. phenom x4 2.2ghz, I have not reach his limits and I didnt even feel the need to overclock the beast... Perfect for FL Studio users or other music softwares that required a lot of cpu load. This, combined with a saberthoot 990fx r2.0 board and cms3 ram is just great enough for me, possibly for more 5 years I hope!

Is it powerful?
Can the Intel Core i3-2100 3.10 GHz Dual Core beat this Eight-Core 3.5GHz AM3 Processor?
