Don't buy an ASUS product
I bought an ASUS tablet for my wife. Sat wrapped for several weeks. Would not turn on. Sent back for repair. Took a very long time. Worked for several weeks. Same problem. Contacted them and they said it was out of warranty - even though it was the same problem. I have a dead tablet that worked a few times. I even had an email that said they would fix it. DON'T DO IT!

Great Laptop
The laptop is extremely fast and the window experience is the same as my Black Pearl Gaming machine. The first one I received was DOA, but returned and got a new one that has been flawless. I am amazed I can log in within 2 seconds and my computer is running in less than 15 seconds. Played BoarderLands 2 sitting in bed. Great fun and Good quality.

Great Laptop!
The only thing I didn't like about it was Win 8. Easy fix though, just wipe and install Linux.

Amazing Gaming Laptop
An amazing product. If you want to get a machine that performs and plays all the newest games while being able to take it just about anywhere. This is it. Only issue I have is Windows 8. Mostly because I'm still learning how to use it. Great quality, super fast, amazing graphics, and it stays extremely cool. This is a great machine and If your thinking of purchasing it. You wont regret it.

Best notebook I ever owned
Being a retired IT Pro I needed a 17 inch screen machine for some of the programming that I still do. Plus I have gotten use to having a 17 inch screen from other notebooks I have owned. This computer can handle it all. I ended up replacing the single hard drive with a couple of SSD in raid 0. The computer comes with the extra hard drive caddie so you don't have to buy one. The biggest problem that I have is I use Driveagent to check to see if I have the latest drivers and it looks like Asus is behind the curve on this matter. But still for the money it is a great notebook that is very capable of handling everything you can throw at it.
