Just what I needed

With a RGBI to VGA adapter,I'm able to use my tv as a monitor for 80 col mode on a Comodore 128 .

Not Quite Good Enough

I had to return this product as it did not perform in my environment. I needed to clone a 1080 sesolution output and this device didn't go that high.

Great Deal.

I was very pleased with this product. Very easy to set-up and easy to use, works with any TV that has video input. I would recommend this product, unless you are looking for High Definition. But for standard definition this converter is perfect.

It works!

Good product but I needed a computer geek to set it up,it came with NO instructions, just a picture with SOME of the names of the cable's. You need to use your comp. for sound, it would have been nice if that fact was printed somewhere!

Works great.+

This was easy to set up on an old TV. (Reluctant to toss the TV just because it is old tech). Look forward to putting the Internet in the living room.

WORKS AS PROMISED

Works with or without extended settings. You have to have fundamental windows skills to set the tv up as a second monitor with its own resolution. Used it to feed netflix and youtube to the tv. Too bad silverlight won't let you maximize a video window and work in the other one - may be dependent on the video card or driver or silverlight version, though.

Uncontrollable image quality

Using a Dell Inspiron 1150 and an Emerson 15'' portable TV, I could not get an image with proper tint, contrast, intensity no matter what settings I tried. The image was also striated with poor resolution. There were no factory reset settings to set a base reference point. Simply disappointing.

Best Product on the Internet

I surfed the internet for a product to match my analog tv set. This was the cheapest I found compared to others who wanted 3 times as much. The instructions were simple as the product. The converter had to be adjusted for the picture everytime the computer is turned off. This is not for computer use, only for movie purposes. I recommend for computer use and movies, one purchase a digital converter that also supports an analog tv set.

good value for money

I have used this product for about a week now. Shipping was very quick. Set up was easy. Spent an hour trying to figure out how to make the tv show color. Turns out changing from S video to tv, changing the channel and going back to S video is the magic ritual. No other problems. Picture quality is good. Wish it was cheaper - that's all.
