Worst CF Card Ever Purchased!
Both computer and camera did not recognize it after using it twice after purchase. My Transcend CF card hase been used for several months and is still going strong. Please avoid this CF Card.

It solved several problems.
It worked right out of the box for me, though I think I'll format it anyway to be careful. I was previously using a miniature hard drive in CF format, but this real flash-memory card is better in several ways. Only one of my 3 computers could read the old hard drive, but they read this card with no problem. In cold weather, I only got about 6 shots on a battery charge. I think both those problems were caused by heavy power demand. My camera now digests a picture in about 0.5 seconds, vs. about 5 seconds with the old hard drive. When you buy any CF card, don't be tempted by the lower prices of the CF-format hard drives. The higher capacity (plus my new 2048x1152 monitor) encourage me to use my camera's highest resolution.

The only problem that currently hasn't been solved is the card has not initalized and the procedure to accomplish that is not easily identified.
