Good Value for Price
I have been looking for an inexpensive sound bar to go with my Sony Bravia LCD TV and chose this one because of Sony name and the featured Sony Bravia Sync option. The value for the money is excellent but the sound performance is just average. Dont get me wrong, sound performance is much better than the TV speakers but its nothing to rave over. Configuring this unit took way longer than necessary due to poorly written instructions. Part of what attracted me to this unit was its Sony name thinking that it would be plug n play setup,not so. It took me a good two hours working through both speaker setup and TV setup to get it working and properly Syncd. The subwoofer is large because it contains all the electronic to control the unit and you need to leave the right side completely open and free from obstructions. The speaker bar is smaller than I expected leaving about 6 empty inches on both sides of my 46 TV. For my purpose, unit is working fine and I'm satisfied.

Rich sound, connectivity options at a good price
Bought this unit to replace a wireless SB sub which had connectivity issues. Setup was a breeze. My harmony remote was programmed in minutes and had the system up and running. Others have noted volume issues - you need to navigate to the sound menus and adjust minimums, maximums and DB for center and SW. Once that is done sound is quite nice. My only complaint is the none of the HDMI channels would work with my scientific atlanta cable box - picture and sound kept cutting off. I ended up running the cable box hdmi to the TV directly and optical audio to the AV unit. My DVD and Roku HDMI worked fine directly connected to the unit. This is definatly a good buy

Best Sondbar ever
I have a small house and it's the best...... I love music and Sony soundbar is small but good enough to handle big room as well........ The best Soundbar ever.........
