GREAT for the price!

affordable and fun. this television is great for the price.. and it surprised me for how low the price it is.... on how good the quality is.. and for a brand i do not know.... yep! def will get another one when can afford. howa'a for this! karo

Video Great, Audio not

This is the second one I've bought from here. For the price this is a very good TV, as others have stated before the sound is not the best, I am using computer 2.1 speakers to substitute, cheap solution. The many inputs are great for hooking up DVD player, vcr, WII, cable,and outside cameras. As to the person that had trouble with the base you must have it the then set the screen gently straight down into it.

Cannot install stand properly

The two part stand cannot be joined properly. Two ears are supposed to click into place to lock the assembly, but the part cannot be forced in far enough to lock.

Turn off 'flesh tone' and it's great!

At first the reds were too bright and bleeding, so after a lot of running through the menus, I found the 'flesh tone' feature (ha!) under 'advanced video' and turned it off. Bingo! Everything looks great now! (This option only shows up in a TV mode, not VGA mode). Also try changing the colour temperature if you like. Bottom-line: With a little tweaking of the default settings, you will love this tv & monitor as much as I do! DVD and Blue-ray movies look great! I love this brand's products.

Greatest monitor for the lowest price!

I bought this monitor on blackfriday 2009 on here for $159.99 and after 8% cashback from Bing, cost me only $147. It's been up and running since past 4 months, no problems whatsoever. Can't get a better deal that that.

Great Picture. Poor Sound

Overall this is a good TV. However like others have said the speakers are poor. I would definitely recommend this to others but with the expectation set that the sound will not be good. Buy a good little surround sound system or external speakers and that will work.

Poor performance at best

Being a photographer and needing color accuracy, I can say this monitor does NOT meet my standards for color accuracy. Even after pro calibration, it's still sub-par. My laptop monitor and older 20 inch LCD perform better in this regard. If you surf the web, look at photos, or even have a photographic workflow, DO NOT purchase this product, because it will leave you nothing more than disappointed. If there was not a fifteen percent restocking fee, I would've returned it. Honestly though, even movies and TV are affected by the monitor's over-saturated colors, high contrast, extremely high luminance, and poor temperature performance (the blues are very low for some reason, and it's tough to get a good balance). Summary - my rating is based on my own standards, expectations and experience. For ME, the product deserves a low rating because of what I do, but go for it if you don't care and simply want the screen realestate for cheap.

Vertical Jitters

The unit works well in HDTV, when switching to VGA I experience vertical jitters. Other than the jitters which clear up when I change views and return, the unit is fine.

Very scared at first

I got this tv a week ago and I was very scared it would perform bad but now that ive had it and seen it for my self I have to say its about 70% better than I expected. Every thing is grate. Ive heard that this brand is known for braking after a month or two so well see. Oh yeah and it had one dead pixel in the middle. Its shows all colors except blue so I dont care. Best value 1080P GET IT!!

Perfect for my son!!

My son wanted an lcd for his room to pair with a desktop and his xbox 360. He was able to buy this and the computer because of the price. He loves the picture. The only change I would look for is additional HDMI inputs.
