This processor has to be the best performance for the price I have seen in a long time. It is the perfect chip for the middle of the road consumer. This chip has been overclocked to over 3.7 Ghz, (by people that do not mind voiding their warranties). If you want a faster chip for gaming, look at the 4 core Athlon II 620 - 630 for a few extra bucks you will get a 80 - 90% speed increase. |

have this cpu installed on a Asus m4n78pro with 2gigs ram and nvidia gts 250 vid card, All works great and it is fast. Ive got 4 systems hooked together on a home network to play games with kids. I dont over clock my stuff and our games run smooth all settings set on high!! FAST SHIPPING thanks! |

I have bought AMD since my first 64bit chip, an athlon 3500. This one went into a media center in my front room. I am very pleased with the performance and only had one slight issue. I used an older asus board, a m3a I had onhand, I had to update the bios for it to see the chip. |

At 3GHz, this CPU is great. Used it for my first build. Fan is not the best but is better then the older one i had. |
