card did not work even after tech support

digital only

got only 7 channels and my feed is over 200 on my cable box. was hoping to have this in the den on my 24 monitor. did not work that way. after 5 hrs of fighting the best i got was 7 stations. crystal clear.

Great Product

I live in So Cal and used this product. At first, using WMC it only found 4 channels but then after googling I found how to add channels manually and Bingo! Added all my channels perfectly! i have VerizonFIOS too.

A re-seller of these Products

As for the last Person who commented if you live in the USA you DO have a digital Signal as of 2010 (Last Year) 100% of USA is Digital and HD Signal (Via Antenna) NO More Analog I have tested every model unit that I retail from My store from Avermedia this is surprisingly a great tv card for the small money I have tested this on a Pentium 3-1Gz PC and ran smoothly with only 1 Gig of Ram I give it and all of Avermedia products 100 out of 100.

Bad product

It says right on the box Unencrypted Digital Cable Content USA only. I just so happen to have an unencrypted digital cable network in my house, in the USA as a matter of fact and i don't get a single channel. I have been at this piece of junk for 3 hours now and it simply wont function. 100% Complete disappointment.

Great for the money

yes READ, it only works with digital not analog. but it works amazing with a digital feed and the few great channels I get!

Doesn't work here!

It's purely digital and a waste of money for me. I hooked up my Rogers digital box and still couldn't get it to work with Rogers support. It won't work in Canada.

Aver tech software

Tuner works Avermedia software that came with it does noes not recognize driver tech support directed my computer from thier side no hope . I have a tuner does not run I feel my money went down the drai.

OK but not great

This only handles digital signals, so for viewing any analog channels you will need a separate card. The Aver software for programming channels is slow and it is a pain to navigate the setup software, especially changing the names of channels and blocking/disabling channels. There aren't a lot of good choices for TV tuner cards out there. This might be one of the best, but its not great.

This is a Great Tuner!

I received this tuner Tues Jul 28 installed it on the 29 did the set up and scanned for channels in less than 30 minutes. It installed perfectly works perfectly and I rather like the simple user interface that comes with the included software. Only draw back is it doesn't come with a remote. For simplicity of install and reasonable price. I rate this an excellent buy! The delivery service was excellent as always as well!
