Saved my butt!
I built a new computer running Windows-7x64 on an Asus motherboard which didn't have a parallel port connector. I bought this card in desperation as I wasn't going to give up my HP 4000 laser printer! The card doesn't show compatibility for Win7 but I bought it anyway and prayed. Nope, it didn't work, that is until I called their Support line and was sent an email driver installation file that worked perfectly! They said the card supports Win-7x64 but their literature hasn't caught up with the technology revision. These guys saved my butt!

compatible with Linux
Linux kernel 2.6.32-22-generic supports this device by default, using no additional software. Some devices, such as OpenCBM, can't share their parallel port. In my case, I had to disable the lp module. In general, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
