Cheap
Yes it was cheap, has some great features but poorly made. One of the adjuster screw cross threaded within just a few days of use by my 12 year old. Under adult conditions it may have lasted longer...

If you need a reliable, solid stand for video
Packs up light and retains positioning as set. I use it on a lightweight video recorder (Kodak). I appreciate the detachable mount so I don't have to fumble with screwing the tripod mount in every time I set up.
