Decent performance, great price
This 95W processor was perfect for the budget mainboard that topped out at 95W. It is a drastic improvement over a dual core processor in that I can work with more application windows open with no lag and when I need to switch gears, I get decent gaming performance on stock cooling. Now I'm eyeing a 125W six or 8 core processor for my next upgrade to get more out of my work and play.

Decent for the money
I acquired some free AM3 parts and wanted the best 95w processor I could find due to the board. This lead me to the X4 945. I've used the 125w 965BE in the past and it is definitely quicker for roughly the same money. Overall I have $130 into this quad core media center running HD movies etc. I cannot complain with the performance for the money but my 3770K system blows it out of the water.
