Great Product if it helps your business needs.

I have had it for 3 weeks now. So far it meets and exceeds our expectations. Although I knew before I purchased it, I wish it networked with all computers in our system, but it only works off one computer.

this is our 8th fujitsu scanner--7 of them for over 5 years--only one breakdown--a small part that our receptionist installed--$20 part--we think they are the best

Excellent Product

Very easy to use. Plug it in and away you go, scanning to your hearts content. Scanning speed is great and quality of scan is very good. Would definetly recommend this product.

Easy to use

I have a income tax practice. Filing client paper work is very easy as it should be. Saves paper with instant access on the computer file. Should have purchased this equipment years ago. Highly recomend.

One mor in a long line of winners

I bought the S1500 to replace a much older Fujitsu that was not compatable with the driver that came with a new portable scanner (which, by the way, works great). I scanned over 200,000 pages with the old one and only had to keep the normal wear items fresh. The new 'universal' driver (SnapScan) was already loaded on my laptop (for the new portable scanner). I plugged in the S1500 and was scanning in less than a minute. I had some configuration questions of the SnapScan driver; I called Fujitsu and actually talked to someone in California that truly knew what they were talking about. Go Fujitsu! I recommend their products frequently.

You cannot buy a better scanner

I started using this brand 5 years ago with an accounting client that scans ALL of their docs. since then I have purchase at least 12 for varieous clients and myself. The speed, clarity and ease of use are not matched. I have tried other scanners of all price ranges and nothing beats this one. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Not TWAIN compatible

I bought this to replace a Fujitu 5110. After connecting it, I found out it is not TWAIN compatible. Therefore it can't be used by Adobe Acrobat, which I use to add scanned documents to an existing file. If you don't need TWAIN, it's very fast and seems to work well.

Great Scanner

Scan Snap Fujitsu Scanners are the best scanners around. I like the S1500 the best. I have the smaller one but the feed tray dose not work as well. This is the best and fastest for the price.

Good and Reliable

This is a great scanner for my work purposes. This year I enacted document scanning versus harcopy filing for everything we do. I've probably run through 30,000 pages so far this year and this scanner has performed just as well as the first day I used it. It can take a bit to set up the software, depending on what you want to do, but overall it's easy and the fact that it comes with Adobe is a great advantage over other scanners that do not come with it.

Great scanner

Excellent scanner. As mentioned in an earlier review, this is the way to go for digitizing large volumes of documents. Also, software allows various scanning profiles (2-sided, color, skip blank pages, insert blank page between documents, etc.) Somewhat pricey, though. However, if you've a lot of material to move, this is the scanner you're looking for. You won't regret the investment.
