Great Product

I bought two of these radios. Had them for almost three years now. They work great! Anyone that is having problems with the radios does not know what they are doing when trying to set them up or other internet related issues at there end. Read the reviews from other sites. This is a great performing radio at any price. I would give it more stars if I could.

Best clock radio I've ever owned

Arrived quickly. Easy to set up. What I like best is that I can go to sleep with one station at low volume, and wake to another station at a different volume, and then listen to something else right away in the morning at still another volume (and it does not change the volume of my alarm settings, which I can set for days ahead). Liking many kinds of music (most not found on local broadcast radio), I find myself listening to multiple genres of music each day.

Dont Buy It!!! Save Your Money!!

I had problems from the start. First it doesnt connect to the internet very well. It's slow to connect and lots of time drops out all together. The alarm would not work with the internet radio. The whole reason i got it is to listen to internet radio, it cant even get that right.

Great product

This radio is awesome. The product worked right out of the box. I turned it on and it started to look for Wi-Fi access points that it can connect to. Less tan a minute, it connected to the router. It delivers almost any radio station you want from around the world. The station that you are looking for is unavailable on the default station list you could still add it to the station list via web site. You can play music wirelessly from your computer or a USB stick. For a small speaker, the sound is remarkably good and has stereo jacks in the back of the unit, if you want to hook it up to better speakers. I am very satisfied with the product.

Excellent idea, excellent unit

Price wise near the top of the scale, but lots of good features and worked well for me right out of the box. Instructions are a bit vague but I'm clumsy with remotes and that won't be getting better anytime soon(don't watch tv for starters), so setting up the wifi password was a little mystifying until I discovered pressing the alpha-numerical buttons more than once resulted in different characters including lowercase letters (no reference or noticeable emphasis to this in the manual that I could see). Performs well, although it would be nice if somebody would fix wifi dropouts once and for all. Not holding my breath here! Only feature I found cludgey was changing stations and quickly finding stations manually. Also, the day date year band across the top is a waste of time, a scrolling banner message where that is with artist and station info would be handy, but now I'm nitpicking, eh? My wife really likes it and that's a big plus.

Exactly the radio I wanted

I like to listen to news on the radio, especially BBC world service, before I sleep and in the middle of the night if I wake up. I used a PCI Max card for a few years, but when it conked out, I switched to regular broadcast radio. I came across internet radios recently, and the Aluratek AIRMM01F looked like what I needed. The price was good, it arrived quickly, and setup was a breeze. Station selection was also easy, categorized by country or genre. BBC was right there, and I found several other stations worth a listen. The WiFi connection was quick and has been solid; the router is in another room (30') under a desk. I don't know about the speaker; I use ear buds exclusively, but it sounds okay when my wife unplugs them to listen to an Irish music station if she is in the bedroom for a while.

do not reccomend

I had I hpoes for this radio, Had to talk my wife into letting me buy it. wi-fi does not work well. cuts in and out, if it connects at all. Even wired in, it still looses contact. Fm radio works ok, but very pricy for a FM radio. I realy was impressed will what I thought in was buying, but it doesn't work as promised so don't buy.

Great Product for its price-class

This product works well. I had no problems connecting to my home wi-fi network. I love the layout and quality of the remote and the buttons. This product seems unique in that regard. Most others have tiny remotes with few buttons. The only major con for me is the lack of battery compartment. And, I really need mobility with this radio. Otherwise, it is an excellent product for the price.

Great Radio

This is a great radio. I have had it about a month and it works wonderfully. The sound is good for a small room and if you want better stereo sound you can hook up external speakers. The light has 3 brightness settings and can be turned off. The lowest setting is still pretty bright. I personally felt it was a little pricey for something you can reproduce on your laptop computer but this way you are freeing up processing power and the speaker is certainly better than most laptop speakers. The remote works well and it is able to play from a USB drive as well as standard FM in addition to internet radio. My one complaint is that there is no up down channel control and you have to go back to the favorites channel screen to pick next channel. My only other complaint is it displays channel track info but automatically defaults back to clock and no way to leave screen on channel track info.
