I used to be an avid shortwave radio listener. This is by far a much broader and clearer alternative. Although it offers more than 13500 worldwide stations, you can easily assemble the ones you listen to more often into a favorite group and navigate to them very easily. Even when the radio is not on or not accessible and you are an owner of this radio, you can easily create an account at their web site and have access to all 13500 plus stations via your PC and create a favorite stations folder that will not only appear on their web site, but also on your radio. If there were a battery operated version of this radio, it would be more versatile. The backlight settings are either too bright or too dark. When you set the alarm, make sure it is set at a station that broadcasts when it goes off. |

I was so excited to purchase this product for my husband's birthday and he was very excited to receive it. However, it turned into a huge disappontment for both of us because the radio wouldn't pick up wifi except within about 5 feet of the modem. Very disappoiting. |

This internet radio is compact, lightweight, has good sound for its size and is easy to set up and operate. So far, I'm very pleased with it. |

Product was great while it worked. That was about 6 weeks. It is now stuck on the opening screen. Reset is not doing anything. I am going to the manufacturer's site. I will update this review after I hear back from them. |

Very easy to set up, great scroll through menus to sort by type of station or country, and nice clear sound. Bought it as a gift for my 75 year old dad and he loves it as a bedside clock radio to hear what's going on from all over the world. Only thing that would make it better, would be if it could also be powered by batteries to make it more portable, but for the price it's a fab clockradio! |
