Bombos Computer Repair Motorola Router Rating
I was hesitant when I saw the price but the sales associate advised me that this is the latest version for ComCast Xfinity Cable customers. I installed it and it was a breeze. The Modem works flawlessly and very compact and very powerfully efficient. I recommend this product model to anyone looking to update their old 3 or four year old modems that use Cable wire service.

Works with limited capability
Works great for people in a tight area. It also has a limited amount of parental options. You can not attach a external signal booster to this modem as there is no port to hook up!

Check with your ISP before you purchase
This is a good product if your ISP uses it. First make sure your ISP has upgraded to DOCSIS 3, second since Motorola doesn't provide support for this unit!!!!! make sure your ISP is able to do firmware updates Again Motorola states they do not supply your ISP with these updates!!! so It's great if your ISP can keep it working with the proper updates or this will just cause you grief because of dropped connections

Works for me!
This modem works for me. It runs a variety of devices with high demand. It replaced the device provided by the cable company and will pay for itself in a very short time.

It depends on your needs
Let's start by telling you that ours is a fairly high bandwidth hungry home. At any given moment, we can be streaming Netflix on a couple of devices, backing up a laptop to a server and web surfing on 2 laptops in a 2-story house. We have to reboot the cable modem 2-3x per day to keep things moving and hoped this product would stop that. The wireless signal strength was so poor that we were never able to find out. My connection dropped from 300mbs to 14mps! Back to the drawing board.

It works.
I got this from bestbuy. It was the best they had, and I like it. This is my first with modem and wifi together. It does take away some things. But if your like me and just want to do wifi all thought your house and not have to connect a bunch of wires, then this is it. I dont have anything connected to the modem. It sets in the kitchen and my other gaming desktop, wife labtop, 2 iphones, wifi printer, and xbox all connected. I did have a hard time connecting the xbox, but after find i had to enable something called pnpo. it works like a champ. it had something to do with port forwarding. if you can pay the price i would recomend.
