General System Requirements
- Windows XP Home/Pro with SP2, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, or Windows Vista x86/x64
- DirectX 9.0c or higher
- For analog channels using a TV tuner with built in encoder, or for digital SD channels: 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV processor or AMD Athlon XP 2000+ or Dual Core CPU with less GHz
- For analog channels using a TV tuner without built in encoder: 3.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV processor or AMD Athlon XP 3200+ or Dual Core CPU with less GHz
- 256 MB RAM (512 MB RAM for Windows Vista® and/or HDTV)
- 500 MB hard drive space for standard installation of all components
- Minimum of 20 GB available hard drive space for recordings is recommended (= about 5 hours of SD recording)
- Graphics card with at least 64 MB video memory and a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 pixels at 32-bit true color.
The graphics cards must be completely compatible with DirectX 9.
- BDA-compatible TV tuner or video capture card for analog and digital recording (included in the retail box – USB port required).

It has need hell to set up this product. I tried to enter my service Tivo service number over my trial service. it did not work. You have to reinstall the software from included CD. Then I tried to download the update. Which made my serial number |

i could not get this past the 6 step.
i never got to use this.
but i really tried to make it work.
a retired computer programer even tryed .
no suck luck.
so returned it darn.
