I got 2 years out of it for my $400.00
I originally purchased the 1200 Watt PSU from Ultra which didn't last too long. Then I RMA'd it and I was upgraded to this unit. It worked well for 2 years. If you register your product they extend your warranty to lifetime. What they don't tell you, as I found out today that it is only ONCE IN A LIFETIME. After the first rma you're on your own. No more Ultra Product for me. I'm sticking with EVGA. They stand behind their PSU's for 10 years.
Why I will never buy ultra again.
I just tried to do a RMA with them and they told me they couldn't because it is a compatibility issue with my graphics card. Never mind I have 1 cheap card that I can run for most of the day still getting the same issue, and 2 higher end cards that when I run something graphics intensive. My system shuts off and I have to unplug it and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. They told me that my cards were made after the psu and it is compatibility and I can not do a RMA.

Awesome Power Supply, Just be sure you have the extra room to put it in. I used a Antec DF-85 plenty of room
Great looking psu, too bad it was doa
This is a great power supply, its 1600 watts and fully modular, has tons of cables with a case and has a vibration dampener. The only downsides are to get the 1600 watts you need to use the 20 amp cable, that and it came doa. The amount of cables and its modularity are great for routing cables through the back panel. Be prepared with your case as this thing is huge.
