Good Value and no Win8
We bought this laptop for our son and have been happy with it so far. After fighting with Win8 on hubby's and daughter's new laptops, we purposefully wanted a laptop that didn't have Win8 on it.

Nice laptop without the silly bells and whistles
I bought this for my parents (60+) and it is a solid, well performing laptop with an ANTI-GLARE screen which is critical for anyone with glasses. It doesn't have all the chintzy bells and whistles some of the 'consumer-grade' laptops have and it didn't come pre-loaded with a ton of crapware that had to be uninstalled. If you just need a good, solid laptop that works, this is a good buy!

Great upgrade
I recently purchased my HP to upgrade from my previous laptop (6+ years old). I only use my laptop for internet & photo editing (not games or viewing), it has kept up well and was a great price! Was glad for free shipping.

Worth the money- not perfect
I purchased this computer to replace an aging Toshiba laptop- the most obvious improvement is the speed at which this laptop operates- other than that the Toshiba just felt like it was a bit higher quality (keyboard touch, fit and finish. Overall it is a fine machine and will serve most users very well.
