Bad Blocks Galore
I've never been so disappointed by a hard drive as this one. I have been plagued by an incredible number of bad blocks on this drive. It takes my system HOURS to run through, trying to map out the bad blocks. Maybe their others worked fine, but the one I got was horrid.

Dead after 1 month
My Se agate died after 3 years, so i bought a WD caviar green and it also died (1 month of usage lol). Now who's a better company hmm ? I think both are equal.

Don't waste your money
This is only 5400rpm HD. Sure you get 1TB but it is slow. Spend the extra money get the Seagate ST32000641AS 7400rpm. It is Sata 6 ready and fully compatible with sata 3.

Arrived as advertised
Quick delivery and smooth setup. Very quiet. I installed this drive in an ULTRA hard drive enclosure and could not be happier. SG let me down and WD picked me right back up again. The only negative thing I have to say about this drive is that the plastic clamshell packaging sux bigtime! I hate it no matter what is packed in it and wish it was outlawed. A simple cardboard box with crumpled newspaper would be much cheaper and preferable. Just my humble opinion. BUT the drive and the Ultra enclosure have me tickled darn pink. I hope the price drops soon as I want 6 more of these!

Surprisingly
I had this HDD for less than a year and it just bombed out on me. I was using the drive to back-up both my desktop at home and my business laptop, so very limited use, i.e. twice a week. I have 2 WD 500GB drives that are just purring and have no problems with. WD builds great drives. I am disapointed by this 2T drive but I will get over it.
