Producing colorful documents is easy with the high-resolution scanner technology included in the Lexmark X4270. With 600 x 1200 dpi optical scan quality and Optical Character Recognition software for converting scanned documents into editable files, the Lexmark X4270 makes scanning a breeze.
The Lexmark X4270 features a stand-alone fax capability that lets users send and receive faxes in either color or mono, without a PC. Faxing has never been so simple with the in-built 33.6 Kbps fax modem, phone keypad for manual dialling and caller ID display. The 79 speed dials (including 20 groups), 5 quick-dial buttons, broadcast function and auto-answer button make faxing from your X4270 fast and convenient With a handy 30-page Auto Document Feeder and a convenient 160-page memory, you don’t need to worry about lost fax pages ever again! The X4270 also makes fast work of photocopying. One-touch black and color copying. Print from 1 to 99 mono copies in standalone mode or colour copies via your PC. Copy up to 16 cpm mono and 9 cpm color. Reduce or enlarge between 25% and 400%. Capable of multi-up printing.

Producing colourful documents is easy with this high resolution scanner. 600 x 1200 dpi optical scan quality; 48-bit color scanner and 12-bit grayscale; Sheet fed design. OCR (optical character recognition) software scans documents to text.

This was my third Lexmark printer and the previous two functioned fine until they wore out. This one, less than 30 days old had problems acknowledging the changing of cartridges, and the message scree, A cartridg would be changed, the alingment would be perfect , but the message would continue to say |

i had a lexmark 125 for years and loved it, when it died i bought this. same unit essentially and the newer software stinks but there are ways around everything lol the printer is a workhorse and i love it for multiple doc scanning use window camera and scanner wizard and tell it document feeder it'll scan hundreds and autoname nice. i gave a low # on features because of the software not the printer . |
