The Motorola Talkabout MR350R 2-Way Radio is loaded with practical features to keep outdoor enthusiasts informed and in constant communication during remote expeditions.
With a range of up to 35 miles under optimum conditions, the radios offer dependable communication in areas not covered by cell phone towers or during emergencies when cell phone communication is overloaded. The rugged radios are also equipped with Motorola’s Push-to-Talk (PTT) power boost feature. When activated, this feature helps extend the transmission range by increasing the transmitter power output while helping to save battery life when no power boost is necessary.
Skiers and winter sports adventurists will appreciate the new design that features extra large buttons making it easier than ever to operate with gloves.
For quiet adventures or when ringing is intrusive, the VibraCall feature can be enabled to silently alert users to incoming transmissions. Additionally, the Motorola Talkabout MR350R 2-Way Radio includes interchangeable faceplates and 20 unique call tones, which allows users to customize their radios to reflect their personal style.

This is my first pair of walkie-talkies. When the maker says "Up to 35 miles", I was expecting about 1 mile of performance in city or dense situations. It's definitely not always the case. But in clear and unobstructed situation, I can squeeze about 5 miles out of them. This is great performance still but I got my hopes to high.
The build quality look very good and overall use and feel is great. |

I use these camping and even in wooded hilly areas the broadcast range is really good. I love the NOAA radio. It helped us prepare for an incoming storm. I've paid this price for radios that only went 10 miles max. The rechargeable batteries lasted a really long time without needing recharged. |
