Easy to use

Easy to use its very good

Wide screen version of my previous one.

Purchased smaller one earlier and liked it. My son needed a dependable and easy to use GPS. So, I gave him that one and purchased this one. The wide screen version seems to have slightly larger lettering and is easier to read for someone of my age. Has all the features and operating functions are mostly identical to previous unit and was able to switch without problems. My other two GPS's were from another manufacturer. But, I am quite happy with the Garmins.

Great price and performance

This is our first GPS device.I bought it for my wife and she really likes it.I have nothing to compare it to but can say it seems to be accurate and the set up was easy.

Good but a mixed bag

This unit replaced a Garmin 255W whose battery failed. It both finds satellites and runs much faster, but it lost the speed limit display feature of the 255w (quite handy)--why, since the data are there? It is more precise, now 50 ft instead of 100 ft. Has an interesting eco driving feature that apparently calcs how ecologically one is driving but which I have not yet figured out.

This is the 3rd Garmin Nuvi I bought.

I have 3 Garmin Nuvi's. Two here in PA and 1 in Florida. They work great.

Almost There

Brought this for my Mom at Christmas. Works well except the touch screen requires very hard touch to work on the lower third of the screen. When I say 'hard', I mean I have to literally pinch the device between my thumb and forefinger for it to accept the 'touch'. Yep, It is refurbished. Otherwise, the device works very well.

My son loves it!

This was a Christmas present for my 22 year old son and he seems to love it. Lot's of great features and your price is awesome!

Great GPS

I have had this now for almost a year. I have never had any problems with it and my daughter and ex have borrowed this to use when they go somewhere. I am getting one for my daughter for Christmas but will get the next model up that has lane assist since she is a new driver. My daughter loves the Australian voice on it. I can't say anything bad about it and love how you can find local restaurants and such when in an unknown area.

excellent product

i am a bus driver and i was looking for a good gps. i cannot say but only good things about the garmin nuvi 1300 the directions were right on point and the real time traffic options is a life saver especially in nyc it will pick the best routes for and redirect u faster than any other gps i ever had. excellent product and the price will knock ur socks off if u need a quality gps buy the garmin nuvi 1300 u will not go wrong.
