Great Product!
In my opinion the friction mount is far superior than the suction cup windshield mount. It is easy to mount - just set it on the dash and it does not move. Being on the dash is also less in my sight line than being mounted to the windshield.

Works Great
I use my Garmin occasionally, but when I have it's quick and easy to set up or put away. It blends in pretty good with the floor mats so you don't see it when I place it on the floor. I had used the suction cups on my previous GPS unit, and they would either fall of the window or the unit I had for my dash or wouldn't stick the first time. So this one is much quicker and easier to use.

Works Perfectly!!

Does it all!
I used to use the suction cup mount and had no problems with it. But after experiencing this mount while riding with a friend, I quickly appreciated several bonus features of this design: 1) moving it to put it out of sight when leaving the car (and then replacing it upon your return) is much simpler; 2)you don't have the annoying circles on the windshield to clean off so as not to let everyone know you have a gps even thought it's out of sight, 3) you can place it anywhere and the flexible base conforms and it stays in place (most important!); 4) my passengers can readily take it down and look at it (a favorite of my daughters), change entries, do searches, and then just plop it back up on the dash facing in my direction. Such a simple and effective design!

Best mount
Just drove 1600 miles. Mount kept the Garmin from obscuring vision. Won't be dropping off anytime as well.
