Take it from an Army Pro Combat Photographer, wanted a point and shoot for the Non-Pro wife and this camera meets all my MUST HAVE criteria for descent pictures. LCD display only cameras WITHOUT a viewfinder are USELESS out in the sun, unless you like to cut off your subject, people, or their arms & heads and faces. Yhis Canon model has one over the competition. Took a ton of pictures at an event without changing batteries, as long as you buy optional 2500 MA rechargeables.(Just turn off the LCD for even more shots) Unless you need to put it in your front shirt pocket, this slightly thicker camera uses AA batteries that are easily replaceable for backup. Has 12.1 PIXs with a strong 4X optical zoom for great shots, and comes in cool colors REX |

NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD
The number of
pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity
of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card
can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your
images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an
average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately
213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will
increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot
in a higher resolution mode. |
