I have had several different joysticks through the years. The bearing on this one is excellant with just the right amount of resistance. If it only had a mixture and prop control as well. The Throttle Control also has the best bearing I have ever felt. Again, excellant resistance and very smooth. Stays where you put it. As far as cordless goes. I cannot perceive any difference from any of my joysticks with USB cable connection and wireless. No muss. |

i got this kind of joy stick from my brother for free cause he said he had a better one than this until now since i just looked at the orig price i never knew that it was worth 80$ on this site |

Was expecting a little bit better joy stick, works but still have to use key board a lot which was what I was trying to get away from. |

The construction, hand-fit and sturdiness of the Freedom 2.4 are better than good - they're a 5-star deal. I really like the feel of the joystick. BUT, there are 4 buttons on the base frame and 4 on the stick top that are identified only by numbers on a flimsy sheet and no more. What a pain in the pants seam. Without instructions with the joystick and with no apparently available instructions at the Logitech web site, I have a joystick that turns, dives and rolls okay (the throttle is also okay), but the other buttons don't do a darn thing. Maybe I'm the Geico cave man when it comes to computer stuff, but neither am I the talking salamander either. The unit didn't come with instructions on how to get the buttons to control other features. Maybe the whole problem is that I'm using Vista?? |

Im using this on my new Windows 7 gaming pc and its working great. I've been playing it with FSX and some MechWarrior and its very responsive and programming the buttons as you desire is not difficult. Sometimes I wish it was a little more heavy, but it works great none the less. |
