Great fan, lousy instructions
When I received the fan and looked at the direction page I was completely baffled. Typical of products made overseas and then a 'universal' instruction page is created with butchered English. Worse, the directions told you to use the AMD base for an Intel processor and vice versa. I found a great Youtube video which walked me through the process. Save yourself the hassle and go directly to Youtube. Just be aware that if you are putting this fan in an existing case you will have to completely remove the motherboard to access it's bottom to install the anchoring plate. If you are comfortable then go for it. It took me about an hour to disassemble and reassemble my computer. The fan has been running for a couple of weeks now and is very quiet and doing its job.

Keeps cool under pressure!
This was the only thing that's ever been on my most recent build, so I have nothing for comparison, but I've stressed the hell out of the chip and have never seen it go over 40. Fans are quiet and strong.

Great Fan
Good Lord this fan is well built! Moderate size, so it isn't for super small cases. I would highly recommend this fan.

had to have
When AMD came out with an 8-coe CPU I did not want something to do the job of keeping it cool, not just some cooler but a good one. Cooler Master is not just some cooler; it's great, and I am glad I got one !!!!

Perfect for the Price
This item was perfect for it's price! Works great and is quite quiet. The CPU seems to run a degree or 2 higher than previous fan, but still within nominal range for the computer's needs! CON: Had to take out mobo in order to install back plate to make this work. Not a huge deal, just took longer than I had hoped to install.

Works well but noisy
No complaints about the ability of the cooler to reject heat. One of the fans starting rattling almost immediately and the unit was scrapped after three weeks of playing around with it. The replacement Thermaltake Contact 30 120mm PWM unit is quieter and performs as well if not better. The blue LEDs are a nice touch too.

Awsome
Very bulky, had a hard time installing in a small case. Fan is very quiet, hardly notice it's running.
