Easy to use and love 15x zoom. Performs well with great picture results. Only drawback I can see is there is no viewfinder and no automatic flash, also some camera shake. Altogether, a great value for a great performing digital camera. |

This is the first camera I have purchased in 30 years and I find it very capable and easy to use, and am impressed with the light gathering ability of the lens. I have taken a lot of indoor shots without using flash and the results are very good. The only thing it lacks is a viewfinder to use in very bright outdoor conditions. Not paying for film developing makes it an easy choice over my old SLR. Battery life is more than adequate. All in all a very good camera for the money.

I have several high end camera bodies with interchangeable lenses. This does not compete with those but does fit in my jacket pocket and is always with me. I got mine for $179 & free shipping overnight a day before Christmas. It's capable of good low light performance but camera shake is frequently a problem since you don't get to steady it by holding it against your face (no traditional view finder). Is there really VR in there? You could fool me on that one. AND NO MANUAL CONTROL! Just scene select and 3EV of exposure compensation. Capable of excellent quality images especially in good light. Impressive zoon range. No thread for polarizer but wwithout a VF you'd need a hood anyway. Video quality marginal but will document stuff for work or family. Hey, it's a pocket point and shoot and a good value. Just don't expect a pro-sumer wonder camera and you will be happy. |

This camera is great for every situation! If you need an SLR then get that, but for those point and click people out there you cannot beat this camera for the price! |

NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD
The number of
pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity
of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card
can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your
images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an
average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately
213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will
increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot
in a higher resolution mode. |
