Several things are good about this camera, mainly the face recognition feature along with it's size and weight. Also, the touch screen is really cool and photos can be zoomed in or out, cropped, and saved as a new image. Pictures come out great in outdoor or well lit situations.
Hand jiggles or movement will result in a blurry photo. The Auto detect feature is lacking for situations where there are dim lights involved. These pictures come out yellowish almost every time. In bright backgrounds scenarios, the person will, many times, be dark and unrecognizable.
I took this camera to the aquarium on vacation in the Bahamas. Many of the indoor pictures came out so-so. The vibrant colors of the eels were not displayed in the photo.
All-in-all, I wish I had spent my money on a different model. Apparently, I take a lot more indoor, dimly lit photos than I realized and have been growing to be quite unhappy with the results this camera has given.
Keep looking...this is not the camera for you!

This camera while small in size has a nice user interface that's easy to understand and make adjustments. Unfortunately that does not make up for the terrible picture quality. It's one thing to have a bevy of features to choose from, but they mean nothing when the pictures come out looking so bad. Typically the pictures look muddy, grainy, and lacking any visual punch. For the money I expected a lot more!

waste of money dont even think about buying this camera not worth it. the picture are really bad plus the camera is very noisy.
