I Too had problems at the beginning but a firmware upgrade fixed all those problems I have had mine for almost a year and if you want a great player at a great price buy this one. plug it in to your Cars AUX jack and WOW!!! it sounds great.
My only CON's would be that they never made a dock for this player as promised and that the head phones aren't all that great. |

I visited the Slacker site and was told that the service is not available outside the USA. Canadian buyers take note. |

I purchased a Slacker G1 like this elsewhere for more money, so this is a great price, BUT ;and it is a BIG BUT, this G1 was replaced by a new series G2 because it is full of buggy problems. The G1 is hard to shut off due to it's power switch. G1 doesn't like to actually connect wirelessly or through a USB either. When it does load up it is fantastic, but it doe not connect most of the time to refresh it's content. The G2 is much better in function and you can get accessories for the G2 unlike the G1 which was dumped by slacker because of it's many bugs. I have ordered a Slacker G2 from them and am returning my G1 to the people who are located in Minnesota I bought it from via the internet for a full refund . |
