This Intel G31 Express/IHC7 socket 775 mobo comes with various intelligent features to make your life easier. Revolutionary energy saving design with Easy Energy Saver technology to FSB 1600 (O.C.). The Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard supports the latest Intel Socket 775 Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo/Pentium Dual-Core/Celeron Dual-Core/Celeron 400 series Processors and Intel 45nm CPU processors at 1600/1333/1066/800 front side bus with the Intel G31 chipset. The Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard is stable and will last a long time thanks to the solid capacitors and Ferrite core choke design in the CPU VRM. Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 (Intel GMA 3100) offers excellent gaming and multimedia graphics. Gigabit Ethernet, integrated High Definition audio, and a DualBIOS solution gives a multiple security functions to the system. Kickin' it old school
I used this to refurb an old machine that lost its paging file capabilities and it sorta fit the bill. It is a mATX that I used in place of an ATX. The floppy connection is at the bottom of the board so I had to get a longer cable. It only has two fan connections, I wish there were more. It comes with some need control software to tweak the speeds. Overall for a joe basic mobo, it does a good job.

Knew that I should have bought 2
Good mother board for the price worked right out of the box. Someone had already overclocked it. No BSOD. Running a Q9600, DDR2, EVGA 9600video. Replaced a EVGA 780I FTW.

Need More
Great board, plenty of IO ports. Have all 4 SATA ports running with 120 GB, 2TB, DVD Burner, Multimedia converter. Goodbye IDE and thanks to the Grrrr Man. Admin won't allow their own name.
