Pretty good for first builders

Stays quiet and cool. Only downside is how bulky the cables are, metal mesh around them makes them harder to manage in a smaller case.

Modular design is excellent

I put this power supply into a Thermaltake A30 case which is a small form-factor design. My components included 2 SSD's. 2 HDD's, 2 ODD's, a PCI driven USB3 multi-function card reader, and the the A30's 4 case fans. The power supply was able to power all these components with 2 power cable left over; the modular design means I saved valuable space inside the case by not having to deal with these cables.

Works as Advertised

I used this power supply to replace my 300 watt supply. I closed up the case and booted my system and it overheated after a couple of minutes. I reopened the the case and checked all of the fans and for dust. I rebooted and everything has been fine since. I have been up almost continuously for weeks. The power supply cooling fan exhausts into the PC case which I don't like, but this does not appear to be a problem.

Overall Quality Product

Lightweight and compact, good build quality. Powers an mATX, dual graphics card, quad-core CPU system easily. The graphics cards require external power, one 6-pin connector each. This OCZ PSU is up to the task.

OCZ ModXStream Pro Power Supply - 600-Watt fit perfectly in my HP desktop that the PS failed in. Fixed my problem, nice mod design, some cables come in a bag, so only use what you need.

Solidly Built Quality Power Supply

This unit has good ratings from testers who try to max out the power output and verified that this brand delivers on its full rated power without failing. The modular cables mean you don't have to have dangling spare cables lying around cutting off air flow. Used it in an MSI full tower case with micro-ATX board and had no problems reaching any device or on-board connectors.

Cables too short

When I installed it into Obsidian 650D, I found that the 12V EPS CPU cable was too short for me to route it behind the motherboard and back out. I had to route that cable across the video card and CPU. This gave my build a messy look and blocked airflow.

Glad I chose this model

The modular cables are great - no extra cables hanging out in the case, and they even include a nice bag to store those cables you don't use in case you need them down the road. Recommend.
