Good Buy
Came in handy twice already when the power went out. DO NOT plug a space heater into it though, because it will short out; no damage to my computer thank goodness, but I should've read the instructions on the space heater (says not to use anything but wall outlet).

Very nice UPS
Plugged all my equipment in, including my printer and had major problems getting this to work. Then I realized the laser printer uses huge energy warming up. After putting printer on it's own power plug separate from this UPS, everything worked as it should.

Good product
I bought this and 550 model, thinking that I might eventually use eco outlets. In one set up I had a cable box connected to eco outlet. I noticed that the unit would occasionally go into battery mode disconnecting eco outlets when electricity was fine everywhere in the house. I called customer support and I should tell you that their support is excellent. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and professional and I got the replacement in no time. Would definitely buy Tripp Lite again.
