Q6600 overclocked @ 3.6Ghz Asus Striker II Formula mobo, 5 HDs (1 Terabyte, 2 750s, 2 500s) 4 G Corsair RAM, 2 8800 GTs in SLI. Was running a Thermaltake fan, which not only ran obnoxiously loud, but 39C at stock 2.4Ghz and 49C @ O/C 3.6 Gigs. This fan runs at 32C stock, 39C @ 3.6G!! An hour of Prime95 CPU torture test: 51C! U can not hear this fan AT ALL. It spins at such a low rate (1,400 RPM) due to its larger size, yet moves MORE air. Easy install, with brackets for LGA775 & AMD both, thermal paste incl'd. Nice back bracket. Great instructions: done in less than 10 minutes! Don't let the size fool u. This is a 5 star product, easy install, and quality mfg. SWEET. |

This fan for chipset 1366 won't work with new intel 55xx (MoBo Z8NA-D6). I ended up buying different Noctua - NH-U12DX. Basically same product but mounted a bit differently. Works great! CPU temperature around 40C. Don't understand why NOCTUA doesn't combine those two. |

The machining of the fastening brackets was not aligned properly. Instructions lack detail. Not easy to install. I am probably gonna have to use retail fan. I would not purchase this product again :( |
