This is my first Gateway. I was hesitant about trying another brand - and - about getting Vista. Also, the 64-bit thing ... It's been a month since I received it, and there have been no problems. I love this computer! |

have not been able to use the dvd drive. to view or play any cd or dvd it locks the computer up and has since i received the product, even after a full factory restore. never again will i buy a gateway. |

Very clean for a refurb. The only thing I don't like about it is the OS. Vista 64 Home Premium. XP Media Center would have been perfect. I wish that it would have come with a free downgrade as I have had a lot of problems with program compatability. I never expected the problem as my replacement unit was Vista Home Premium. |

Happy with the system's features and performance for the money. No problems other than when I unboxed the tower I could hear something inside, removed the side panel to find five screws running loose throughout the system. |

No problems experienced at all. Noticeably more quiet than any previous PC I've had. Good looking, solidly built. My first refurbished purchase but can't even tell. Loads a tiny bit slower than hoped but just a bit barely worth mentioning. Tons of features for the price. A really great value. |

The computer itself is great...fast processor, great for gaming, however, with the Vista operating system, and the 64 bit dual core processor, it has too many conflictions with drivers. The 64 bit thing may make it faster, but when there are conflictions you have to search for 64 bit compatible drivers and sometimes they are hard to find because of the newness of the 64 bit processor. The older software programs don't have updated drivers for it. Other than that, I am satified with my purchase. |

Received the Pc 2 days after ordering it. Hooked it up over the weekend and started set up while waiting on my new desk. Not much crapware installed, it was easy enough to remove. I wish it had better speakers but oh well what do you expect for $419. It started up quick and had no problems. The case looks brand new there are no marks on it, great looking finish. So far I'm happy with my first purchase from Tiger Direct. |
