I got this phone since my contract was expiring but the battery life is so bad that I had to charge it every day in the evening. The customer service sent a replacement battery but the same problem again. The phone also lacks many of the good features that are normally available on similarly priced cell phones.Overall not a great phone for this price

I bought the LG CU500 to use on a trip abroad. When I got to where I was going, the phone didn't work. It doesn't seem to be a bandwidth issue. The phone won't accept a complete phone number when I try to dial. Since I will be away for just over five weeks, I won't be able to return it for servicing till I get back home. In the interim, I bought another phone abroad.

I bought this cell phone on a whim and I have not been disappointed. I was deployed to Afghanistan and needed an unlocked GSM phone and this LG was perfect. The camera is good for close in shots. The only thing that I have a problem with is the volume level when I receive a message even though I have the volume turned all the way to 1. Oh well...if thats the only problem I have, then I truly don't have a problem.

I bought for a friend out of the country. Carried it there and it would not work. Returned to a store who told me to send to the manufacturer. The manufacturer wanted an invoice with eime number that the selling company could not provide. It was then I found out from calling the website that the phone was not new but refurbished. Now I need to send to the refurbisher after I receive an rma. Maybe someday I will get a replacement phone which is of no concern to Comp USA as they have their money.

We wanted a good basic sim-card phone for worldwide use, excluding Japan. Works good in USA but - it does not work in France and no amount of support from the help line could make it happen. Luckily my wife's motorola worked (same sim card) and keep working in England, Germany and Switzerland. Worst is we can't return it.

In the very rare event that your phone is damaged when you receive it the damage must be reported within 72 hours of receipt. In these cases we will issue a return authorization and EXCHANGE the damage phone for a like or similar model depending on availability, provided the serial number matches.
3. Supplier will not accept returns or process exchanges on phones damaged by water or any liquids. We know it might've been an accident, but whether it suffered a small splash of water or a swim in an ocean, they can't take it back. There are test indicators in the phone that let the supplier know that the handset has been wet.
