Using this processor for video editing along with writing DVD and surfing at the same time. Don't see any delays switching between applications. Using it with ASUS M3N78-VM Mobo, 4GB RAM , 500GB SATA HDD.
I'm very pleased with the processor. |

Processor maxed current system software (5.9 under WV). The only issue I had was to whether the 4 point connector would work in a three prong motherboard. No issue, fan runs fine and adjusts to useage. Now all I have to figure is how to increase the FSB on my motherboard. With S&H I still paid less than my local computer shop. |

I Finally decided to Upgrade my personal computers possessor from a single core to this quad core after many faithful years to AMD. I've used many different types of prossesors over the years on different sytems i put together and I have to Say that the AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Quad Core Processor Blows the competition out of the water, this is by far the BEST and fastest AMD yet Intel has nothing on this! great Buy! even better when overclocked, although I would buy a better cpu fan if you plan on taking advantage of its unlocked multiplier. the stock fan just cant keep up with its amazing power.
Runs everything I've thrown at it flawlessly, Great for Multitasking, Rendering, Games run Great too! I would give it 6 stars if i could! |

This is my second Phenom. I have not run into any issues with this processor. My Build was with a MSI K92A II mobo. I do a lot of digital processing. Recenlty I batch processed 96 Raw photos and it only took about 30 seconds. The speed is unbeleivable. Great processor. |

My mobo died, and my socket 939 processor was useless. So, I decided to give the Phenom II X4 a shot, with the Biostar TA790GX 128M mobo. The performance is outstanding! I can't think of anything to load up that would cause this processor to choke. I'm on stock fan, default settings, 4GB DDR2...From Photoshop CS3, to 3D Studio Max, This processor laughs at me like my efforts to slow it down is a joke. Loading games is a breeze, it even runs World of Warcraft like a champ. I strongly recommend this processor to anyone on a budget, but wants high end performance. A+! |

Upgraded my processor from an AMD 5000+.
Installation was a snap!
My computer works faster, and runs much cooler. I have never had it work so well. I am very pleased with the processor and with fast service. Would highly recommend both. |

I hooked this 940 in my Asus M3A7B MoBo, replacing my AMD Phenom 9950 2.6 and I see better results. Quicker and runs apps a tad faster noticably. I am a AMD man! Truly a delightful CPU. Only issue I had was I had to flash the Bios for the Mobo. Yet complicatingly simple with Bios! Defiantly worth purchasing. This site has been my place to purchase anything and everything for electronics. Very great company! Thank you! |

I'm so happy I went with this build. It's awesome. Super fast. I run many apps at once including 3D apps and all of the adobe suite and I have yet to ever see a glitch. I haven't tried to overclock but I know it will only get better. Plus, it was so simple to put together and it is not too loud. I'm using regular no frills case fans and they're the reason it's audible. I would definitely buy another. Thanks |

worked right out of the box. fan it comes with actaully keeps it cool. played games for hours and it barely reaches 30C and idles at 20C. love it and i havent even tried overclocking yet. |
