Performs as Advertised
This dock works well. It does what it says it will do. Most of the complaints I have read about are actually problems related enduser equipment not this product. Not all motherboards have the abilty to hot swap and not all motherboards have the ability to hot swap with eSata. Check your equipment if you need to hot swap. I am happy wit my purchase.

Faulty
I purchased this dock for my Photography business, so we can swap hard drives out on a daily basis. After awhile, the dock wouldn't stay connected to any of the computers for very long. It then ceased to work all together. I strongly recommend not buying this product.

Great Deal
I am always a little leary about drive docking but this product does the job and does it well. using 2 1.5 TB drives and the read time is almost as good as an internal install. For the money and the convenience of being able to hot swap a drive its a bargain. Buy it. I did am I am quite satisfied.

Works for me!
Had a large job of copying a number of drives. Purchased this item with an IDE adapter and it made the job a breeze. No problems using either USB or ESATA connections in Win7. A decent product for the price.

Not for Windows 7 or Vista
Very slow to no response. None on Win7 and it took 30 minutes to recognize on Vista. No problems with other drive docks.

Good, but note that eSATA requires 2 cables
I've been very happy with this, and am using it with a USB 2.0 connection, which requires only 1 cable. I don't have eSATA on my computer, but if I did, it appears that you need two eSATA ports to use both slots in this HDD via that connection method.

Watch Out
These docks are not reliable for continuous use. I have 60 of these for my organization and so far, 25 have died in two weeks of use. First you will lose one port, and then the other. We were using them to install OSes in a lab environment and they just burn out. For an occasional use item, it may work fine for you but that is not my experience.

Good Buy
Unit works as advertised. I don't reapond to a lot of review requestsa but this product does what it is supposed to. I am running 2 hard drives 1 via E-sata 1 via Usb2 with no issues. Works well with my laptop. Highly recommended.

A good solution
I haven't had any problem with this dock, however I just think the price I paid for it is a little elevated for what this does, I think 60 bucks at most would have been good, but nevertheless this is a great product for your hard drives and saving your data - it saved my life, I would highly recommend it if you wanna have two slots for your hard drive NB: You can only use two HDD at a time; whether it be one 2.5
