Item is great! Works as described. Much easier than the other option...taking laptop apart to replace headphone connection port! Great option to fix that problem.

Good for what it is supposed to do !
Does what it is supposed to do. Worked flawlessly on my mac without the need for additional drivers. Housing is way too flimsy and is prone to breaking. It is value for the buck though.

Just like it reads
I lost my onboard sound, ordered this to replace it, plugged it in, my computer picked it up and was working within 30 seconds. It isnt perfect sound so if you want this to watch movies or listen to music forget it but if you just want sound its perfect. Highly recommended.

Amazing Device
This device is extremely simple, easy to install. Threw it into a USB port, and both Linux and Windows knew what to do with it. Lol! Good device, easy to use! And a great upgrade option for older computers if needed. I use it with Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) and Crunchbang Linux (x64)

Works great, breaks easily
I ordered seven of these adapters for my office. We have had them less than a year, and with very light use (once or twice a month for a couple hours at a time) two of them have broken - the metal part that plugs into the USB port comes off of the plastic part, tearing and bending all the connections inside of it. We will keep using the ones I have, but I am going to try a different brand to replace the ones that have broken.

Great item.
Got this one after my frontal audio port magically died :). Really easy to use and install, about a couple of minutes. The size is smaller than what I thought it would be, and the small extension USB cable, that came with it, makes it even more harder to hit it by accident(since I plugged it in the frontal USB). Overall really happy with the purchase.

Great Idea
Sound from the Mach Speed motherboard was not working, same with internal sound card. Bought this USB device and it worked like a champ! Plug and play with Windows 7 Home Premium on a USB hub. Great product. Highly recommeded.

cost effective way to exceeded expectations
Sound section of mother board failed. After browsing through the online catalog, I found a cost effective way to restore sound to the computer without replacing the mother board, or even opening the computer to install a sound card. Installation is quick and easy, and performance exceeded my expextations.
