Didn't work
If you're looking to connect your PC to an HDTV, this isn't the product you're looking for. The only ways to connect are via S-video, composite and an obsolete European standard (SCART). The unit I got didn't work on S-video or composite. I'd get a picture for a second or two then it would go to black. And neither picture quality is anywhere near HDTV quality. When I ordered it, I swore that the description said it included a 6' VGA to RGB cable, but the unit I received had a composite video cable instead. Then, I re-checked the page and it now says composite video cable. I wish I'd taken a screen shot to know whether I'm crazy or not.

Problem with unit
At first this device seemed to be OK. But, found out that it does not remember the screen size setting if it is tutned off. It needs to be re-set each time it is powered up. This is a major issue for my application since the NTSC device is not at the same location as the Computer. Talked to a StarTech technical person and he agreed that this is a problem with the design ! ! ! Am returning the unit.

Great Deal
Needed a good VGA to NTSC and S-Video converter to supply output to my home projector. Selection of computer to television equipment was best and this item met my needs perfectly and has features that exceeded my expectations.
