Depedability
At my company we have a large mobile fleet with laptops and we have experienced multiple issues with car chargers. I ordered a few of these inverters a few years ago and have not had one issue with them yet. They sit in the cars and deal with Chicago summers and winters and I have yet to replace one. Well worth the money spent.

Does exactly what i need it to do
I've gone through several power inverters, all of them either just died within a week or 2 or started melting (i have a 12v line installed in my vehicle). I have to keep my laptop charged through 10 hour shifts, and nothing could handle it. i bought this inverter and it's worked like a charm since i got it in the mail. I've had no problems with it at all and it's lasted about a month now. I'd recommend this product to anybody who needs a good power inverter.

nice
I use it to power laptop in the car with mircosoft street and trips 2010 gps. Much cheaper the buying the car adapter. and can plug other things in too.

Great product!
I purchased this Belkin 300 Watt DC AC Inverter to use on my vacation. I made sure that the power switch was not turned on, either on the PC or the inverter. I plugged it into my car outlet and then plugged in the PC. I turned on the Belkin then turned on the PC. I was able to work for hours in the backseat of the car and neither the Belkin nor my PC got overheated. My car also had no performance issues. It was really great!

Unfortunate Experience
received inverter right before vacation. When I plugged the adapter in the inverter blew the fuses in my vehicle multiple times. After vacation I tried in other vehicles also blew the fuses in them. Belkin has promptly replaced however and my replacement appears to be working. I should note the unit never powered up, it was shorting the car a soon as it was plugged in.

Great for long car rides!
I ordered this because I needed some way to charge my MacBook on a 5-6 hour car ride. It's exactly what I needed. I ordered it at 7 pm, and it was on my porch before 2 pm the next day. Never going on another roadtrip without this product!

Worked perfectly
Fast delivery. Inverter powered a 15 inch flat screen TV with DVD in the back seat along with a laptop to entertain children in the backseat on a 12 hour drive to Florida (and back). Worked perfectly.
