Works Grrrreat!!
Looked all over town for these. Bought my last set (same brand) in 2004 and they were getting a bit worn. Hope these last as long. They seem to be pretty good quality. I would buy again.

Careful - let it dry a while; it smudges
Water-based or not, the colors look semi-transparent and smudge easily, so wait several seconds for drying. No better than other markers, and a far cry from the class-A markers this brand used to sell. Guess I'm back to making my own again with engineering pens and India ink.

Worth the money
The ink in these markers is water not oil based and is specically made to label optical media.Worth the extra money for the peace of mind.

Well
They are markers. they seem to be of good quality. I bought these to abate my concerns about the solvents found in a sharpie that i have used for a decade now for marking my dvd's. I am a bit concerned that the manufacturer claims no responsibility for data lost due to use of this product. It will be years before the performance of these markers is known.

A great product
I love to burn cd's but in the past I have forgotten to label the cd's with these highly recommended labeling markers you can't go wrong. Good product.
