Works as advertised but requires screw to stay in
Does what it is supposed to do but requires the screw to be fully secured to make sure the card does not fall out. It is a very loose fitting card and does not stick in like most other cards do.

Very simple setup
No problems at all. Installed card and Win7 took care of the drivers. Easy as that! Been running extra disk drive for about a month now and all is well.

Geat Product
Installation on Gigabyte MB was no problem at all. The software was a little different though. I was expecting something like an auto install. I ended up opening the disk and there were files for several different models of cards. I opened the file for my model and from there installing the drivers was easy.

Great Product
So far working good. Using for SATA DVD Burner. Running Win 7 64 bit and did nothing other than install card. Win 7 and bios did the rest. I love it when things work right!

Adds two SATA ports
MS 7 64 OS did see it, but it was seen as an unknown RAID device. Used Update Driver in Device Manager to load driver from cd ok. After loading the driver the controller shows up as a USB device in the tray called SiImage SCSI Disk Device. Not sure why it would use a USB port? Interfered with my USB 3TB external drive until I updated chipset drivers on motherboard (D975XBX2).

Wanna add 2 sata ports?
I needed 2 more sata ports on my mobo. installed this card on a new build and windows 7 took care of the rest. Very happy so far.
