recieved different brand, but ok.
It's a battery. I hope it lasts a long time. Not sure why it was shipped in a near shoe box sized package.

CMOS MoBo
I've had my present computer for five years, so I thought I'd replace the CMOS battery just to be safe. The old battery seemed OK but was losing about a second a day--not too big a deal. The new battery gains several seconds per week (Via: WWV). Now I don't have to worry about the CMOS BATTERY, probably for as long as I keep this computer. The picture shows a different brand and indicates it might be a Lithium. This one is a Panasonic with no indication whether or not it's lithium.

good bettery and great price.
bios was able to keep setting/date/time and remember the memory after the install. Battery worked great!
